Following the success of its Chef’s Table experience held in December, 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant has chosen to offer the set menu throughout the year. Ideal for those looking for an interactive dining experience, the 11-course set menu features a range of signature dishes that will be personally served by Executive Chef Ruben Guerrero at the sushi bar.
To launch the introduction of this engaging dinner, the award-winning Japanese haute cuisine restaurant held a special edition of the increasingly popular #DineAroundWithDavid event in partnership with David Tapley, editor of Out & About UAE. An intimate group of 16 of Abu Dhabi’s top foodies gathered at the venue last night to sample the experience first-hand, and explore some of the finer touches in Japanese cooking.
A 99 Sushi tradition, the Chef’s Table menu kicks off with a plate of hosomaki followed by a bowl of edamame. Highlights of the menu include lava rock grilled scallops, King crab au gratin, salmon and toro flambé and lobster maki.
It is recommended to make reservations for this exclusive dinner as the sushi bar only accommodates a maximum of five people per sitting. The Chef’s Table dinner will now be available daily for AED 299 per person.
